Mayberg Foundation Hosts Financial Tips Professional Learning Session for Grantees

January 5, 2021, Chevy Chase, Md. — Grantee clients in small to mid-sized organizations participated in a professional learning session called, Financial Tips for Healthy Nonprofits, today. Seasoned accountant Ellen Kessler facilitated the session and shared her accounting expertise with the leaders of area nonprofits. The group discussed sound fiscal practices such as maintaining accurate accounting records and rationally altering expenses.

Consistent with Jewish values, the Mayberg Foundation is committed to helping people in our local community, the Washington Metro area, in addition to our core work partnering with national and international organizations focused on Jewish education and outreach. The Foundation strives to support grantees beyond financial support, partnering with them in all elements necessary to build a successful nonprofit.
